Pia's specialty lies in crafting everyday objects, elevating them to the status of sculptural marvels, creating connections and evoking emotions in the most commonplace moments of our daily lives.
I cherish the imperfections of materials, their inclination towards decay, towards entropy, which encourages me to embrace the unexpected, the transient. I make room for complete spontaneity in the creative process while composing my pieces. I also work particularly with color, vivid and dynamic, and we have all that in common with Sophie Delafontaine, Longchamp Creative Art Director, who is so keen on endlessly exploring materials and colors.
